CAMP CANINE REQUIREMENTS AND POLICIES
To ensure the health and safety of your pet and of our other guests, we require that all of our clients comply with the following rules and regulations.
Dog Daycare Requirements
All dogs must:
Be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, Leptospira and Parvo vaccines.
Have their Bordetella vaccination every year
Negative parasite fecal screen every 12 months and within 3 months of evaluation.
At least 16 weeks old and completed 2nd series of vaccinations (call with questions!)
Be spayed or neutered after 6 months.
Be on flea prevention.
Be wearing a quick release collar.
Be fully restrained in the parking lot, and entering and exiting the building. Dogs can be held, in a carrier, or on lead. This means to and from your vehicle.
Owners must:
Confirm that their dog has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behavior towards any person or other dog(s).
Complete the Camp Canine enrollment packet, including the vet form. After we receive all parts of the enrollment packet, we will e-mail you to set up an evaluation.
Schedule and complete a behavioral evaluation. We only schedule behavioral evaluations Monday-Friday at set times. We need at least 24 hours advanced notice to schedule a behavioral evaluation, and we tend to book up about 2 weeks in advance. The fee for an evaluation is $25.
Dog Daycare Rules
Daycare drop offs occur between open hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-10:30AM. If you need special accommodations let us know, we are happy to accommodate where we can! Pick up anytime between 12PM-6:30PM
We require all dogs to have a reservation to utilize our services. We do not accept walk ins. Reservations made for the same day will be dependent on space availability and if your dog has a positive friend group already here.
Cancellation of a daycare day must be given 24 hours before appointment. Failure to give proper notification will result in forfeiture of your day which can mean use of a credit or a charge to your credit card on file in the amount of your booking.
Payment is due at time of service and a credit card should be saved to your PawPartner account.
Any dog with a communicable disease in the past month will require veterinarian documentation of good health before it is admitted. If your dog is not feeling well (coughing, diarrhea, etc.) please do not bring your dog to daycare. Dogs that become sick while at daycare (coughing, diarrhea, etc.) will be isolated and called for early pick up. We have a very strict policy about this so please call with questions!
Medical Illness Policy
If your dog becomes ill or injured, your dog will be treated as deemed best by the staff of Camp Canine, and owner agrees to assume full financial responsibility for all expenses involved. While Camp Canine will utilize all contact information given for both owner and emergency contact, should both owner and emergency contact be unreachable by phone, owner give permission to Camp Canine to allow medical charges and will accept charges up to the amount specified below for medical care while in the care of Camp Canine.
