Welcome to Camp Canine!
We are a mostly outdoor facility so your dog gets
the freshness of being outdoors all year long .
The FrontWe are located off of the Mukilteo Speedway. We share a parking lot with All Care Pet Hospital and Ace Metal Recycling so if you see signs for either you are heading to the right spot! We may not look large from our parking lot... but our yards span out behind our building! Take a look below!
|
Inside AreasWe have 2 separate but adjoining rooms inside our facilities. This space is primarily occupied by our "Little Dog Group" who enjoy being in a climate controlled space where we run the AC in the summer and the heat in the winter! This room is also used for our enrichment and 1 on 1 play sessions! The 2nd space is our nap room for our daycare kids because taking a break is just as important as playing! Taking routine breaks is important to control over stimulation, injury and tempers.
Our nap room is always playing classical and calming music during breaks! |
The Grass Yard & Sun Deck
One of our newest upgrades to Camp Canine was building a larger sun deck and turfing the grass area .This yard is connected to our boarding area where dogs can easily access the outdoors and remain separate from daycare if they need a "break" during an overnight stay. We also conduct sniffari's, scent work and hide n treat enrichment here. This is also our puppy preschool play space!
The Pole Barn
This is one of our most used spaces in our facility! It is about 1,600 sq feet of play space. The flooring is covered with dense rubber giving the dogs both traction and padding while they are playing. There are 4 large infrared heaters that keeps it nice and warm in the winter and Fans and misters during summer! Typically this yard is used for our adolescent or high energy group as this gives them plenty of space to run, obstacles to play on and nothing to chew on that isn't supposed to be! |
The Bark Yard
This is our largest play space and the nickname actually comes from the cedar bark chips we use to cover the ground! Didn't expect this much space from the looks of our parking lot did you?! There are 2 yards separated by fencing so multiple groups can enjoy the outside. The biggest yard in this area is about 9,000 square feet with covered structures, plenty of natural smells and space to run with friends. There is a second yard in this area that also has covered play structures and space to explore for our smaller/ less active fur kids to get the fresh air. Although the bark chips keep down on the mud, during the rainy season it can get a little dirty.
The Turf Yard
The final yard space! This area is tucked in our back corner which is excellent for the dogs who are more anxious or reactive. This allows them to be free of the triggers like seeing cars in our parking lot, seeing the main door open at camp and employees walking around. Without those distractions they can focus on playing with their friends and soaking up the love from our team. This yard is all open air but primarily covered by the canopy and has a inside area with beds, heaters and blankets. We also have A/C and cooling mats during summer.
